I'm looking forward to a long weekend. If plans go as expected I will be away from any computer for the next 3 days. No way to log-on. No way to check Email! Oh my, do I really want to do this? I guess that's the first sign of addiction. I'm already having withdrawal symptoms. Actually I'm looking forward to it. They only problem is that in three days my email will have more spam then I can handle. I've gotten used to deleting and filtering daily, but when you get to see multiple days worth all at once it gets to you.

WOW. I've been Blogrolled! It's only a reciprocal one, kindly done by Geekblog He was good enough to tell me my set-up at blogrolling was not quite right. I really appreciated that. It made me look at the set up more closely and I learned a bit more. I've been regularly reading his blog every since I ran across it in Lockergnome It was one of the reasons I got motivated to try my own.

I don't know what people find to write about all the time. I'm a very shy person. I never kept a log or diary at any time. Never really could see why anyone would want to. Now, I'm told it's very good to let it all out. Not being good at penmanship a blog is certainly an easy way to try. I'll just try to let it all hang out here in text. I don't know if I feel better yet or not. I know I don't want to go on Jerry Springer et.al. but I'm not sure that this is much better. No one will be reading this, but just having it out there where someone could seems scary.

A new week dawns. I didn't bother to update on the weekend. I think that should be the rule not the exception. For one thing. I never do much. My wife and I usually go grocery shopping and stop by one or two other stores. What a boring time you say. Well not for me. I enjoy doing nothing. Now I can attack the new week afresh.

Wow. I've been playing with Linux on a CD. What a great deal. A complete system with everything included to start you off. Check it out at Knoppix. I've been very impressed. You download from any one of several mirrors. Burn it into a CD and you're set. If you can't boot from CD you can create a boot disk on a floppy.

When will there be something worth watching on TV? 75 channels and nothing but stupid games shows, reality shows, and unbelievable comedy/drama shows. I'll have to start reading again!

Hope today goes better. Yesterday one of my PC at work acted up. Took four hours to get it back in working order. It's the one runnnig NT. The other running W2K has performed flawlessly. (Knock on wood now!!!)

Just had "Breakfast with Bill Gates", along with 2000 other people. Why is he the richest man in the world? Lots of hype about how great .NET is. We will see.
