I'm trying out another link. This one is BlogExplosion and they are offering some eyes. It will be interesting to see if anything changes. I added this banner:

I'm not really anticipating updating much, so I don't know why I want people to come here. Guess I just can't make up my mind! Do I want to blog or not? Only time will tell.

This is only of interest to some Canadians, but if you want to start your income tax and want to save some money use this link to get Manulife's Quicktax deal of 25% off the standard $19.00 charge. I have always bought Quicktax, but thought I would try the on-line one first this year. You can set up an account and enter your details, you only have to pay when you print or file your taxes. Until then you can log in and do anything you could do with Quicktax on your desktop. I have only started, but I was impressed by the ability to upload my 2003 q03 file and start with a lot of the information pre-loaded. I've started to get my T4's and T5's, so it will be nice enter them as they arrive.

Picasa: Photo management software, free from Google. Find, edit, share photos.

Not much to say but I must pass on the fact that an upgrade everyone should check out has just been released, a free software download from Google.

Picasa is software that helps you instantly find, edit and share all the pictures on your PC. Every time you open Picasa, it automatically locates all your pictures (even ones you forgot you had) and sorts them into visual albums organized by date with folder names you know. You can drag and drop to arrange your albums and make labels to create new groups. Picasa makes sure your pictures are always organized.

I'm using w.bloggar 4.0 right now! Yes, the newest release is available for download here. The self-proclaimed, but very true, best interface between you and your blog, just got better. There is a long list displayed on the WhatsNew page. A lot of additions and a few corrections. If you are using version 3, give 4 a try. If you have never used w.bloggar then you are in for a real treat. It is free (donations accepted), easy to install and setup, and contains so many features that will make blogging user friendly.

I just ran across this little item. So, if you are not offended by body functions why not try your aim by peeing in the snow. I probably qualify as someone with strange sense of humour but I find this very entertaining. Unlike, real life you get an unending supply to finish your message.

It's the fifth of January, and this is the first time I have sat down to even think about this blog. The holidays went by so fast, and the tragedy in Asia consumed so much of my attention. I don't have anything much to share at the moment. I haven't been doing any serious surfing and I have not run across anything worth writing about.
I just want to wish everyone a Happy 2005. If you have donated anything to the relief efforts in Asia, good for you. If not, then why not consider sharing something? There are lots of places to donate. Just check out Google if you need any ideas.
