It's been a while but I haven't really had anything of great interest to say.
Until now, when I ran across this set of PHP scripts that allow you to upload files to your Gmail account. PureMango has the source for you to demo/download with these great features:

- upload / download files of any size
- delete files
- keep regular emails in the same account
- compresses uploaded files
- displays space remaining
- send files to other gMail accounts*
- forward stored files to other gMail accounts*
*requires the other accounts to use gDrive

In case you haven't read about this on another blog yet: Google Maps.

I've just played with it a little, and I'm very impressed. You don't need to re-load the page to navigate,
and you can simply click-and-drag to move along the map. Same goes for zooming.
It's all done on the fly. There is no need to wait for the page to reload. WOW ! !

I know that there are dozens of references to Ifilm and anyone interested probably already knows. I though this batch just doesn't have anything that stands out and makes you think they got their money's worth.

The annual Brandchannel Readers Choice Awards are in for 2004, with some surprising results. The survey is designed to recognize the brands that have affected the lives of consumers the most in the past year, whether that impact is positive or negative is of no importance. They pick winners in each world region, as well as for the world as a whole. Some winners seem obvious, others are to me shocking, but on reflection I can see why.
