It has been a long time. I'm sure you don't want to know why I haven't posted. Anyway, I'm back and found this interesting item to post. Since I have my MP3 player it interests me, so maybe you too? Audioshell is a freeware MS Windows Explorer shell extension plugin which allows you to view and edit music file tags directly in Windows Explorer. AudioShell support all files and tags standards supported by Tag&Rename. AudioShell adds tag editor and viewer tabs to the music files properties menu (you can edit tags file by file or by groups), detailed music files hints with tag and file information, and additional columns in the Explorer files list. Full Unicode support. Great tool for mp3 players owners! You can fast and easy fix files tags in Explorer before uploading its to your iPod/Creative or any other mp3 player. Skip at 5:11 AM You can now see my house (if you know where to look) at Google maps. Google bought Keyhole a while back and now they have integrated its satellite images with Google maps. You can click on the satellite tab and see a Keyhole satellite photo for the map you are looking at. It works for the US and Canada. I don't know if, or when, it will work elsewhere. This is just too cool!!!! Skip at 10:43 AM My attempt at humor, last Friday, was not very successful. I never get any comments here at the blog, but I did get a few in person. As a result I will refrain (as much as I can) from trying to amuse and stick to business. On that front a new site called Pookmail has popped up. PookMail.com is a disposable email account system. Use PookMail.com to avoid give your personal email address to untrusted sites. Another one to add to the dodgeit and MyTrashMail sites. All give you some flexibility to hide your real email from forms and sites you don't intend returning to. Skip at 7:56 AM All activity at this blog will be suspended now. Due to my fantastic blogging and incisive comments the New York Times has offered me a column and all efforts will be concentrated there. Click here to go to my NEW YORK TIMES home.
