When you have done everything else with your digital picture and are tired of removing 'Red Eye". Check this out. JPEG image files can contain supplementary information (so-called Metadata). Technical metadata as described by the EXIF standard can contain fields for GPS data, like geographical latitude/longitude, altitude, and track. The free Panorado Flyer tool enables you to get the coordinates of the place where the picture was shot and insert them into these fields. You can do it manually, using a dialog window. Or, if you have installed the Google Earth client (which can be downloaded for free), you can search for the location there, drag it to the center of the map window, then change to Panorado flyer, grab the coordinates and insert them into the image selected, without typing any numbers.

There’s a Microsoft security tool that really hasn’t received the attention it deserves: DropMyRights. With it, you can easily run programs outside of Administrator mode:
DropMyRights is a very simple application to help users who must run as an administrator run applications in a much-safer context—that of a non-administrator. It does this by taking the current user’s token, removing various privileges and SIDs from the token, and then using that token to start another process, such as Internet Explorer or Outlook. This tool works just as well with Mozilla’s Firefox, Eudora, or Lotus Notes e-mail.

Weekly MP3 share Another share of one of my MP3s. I set up a new one once a week and give you seven days to check it out. After that it will be gone and replaced by a new selection. Please don't link to this. Just click on the link and save it. For this week:

Mp3 Share John Mayer
"City Love"

John Mayer has a new album out called "Continuum". It's nice but I didn't hear anything that will be a breakout hit like "Your're Body is Wonderland" from his "Room for Squares" album. Maybe I'm missing something. He did draw a hugh crowd when he gave a free show in Toronto for the grand opening of the downtown BestBuy. I've listened to the new album a few times now and the more I do, the more I like it. Time will tell if there is a big hit. I did hear "Gravity" on the TV show House last week, hope the royalities show up for John. Meanwhile I thought I'd share 'City Love" from the "Room for Squares". If you didn't buy that album you probably have never heard this song.

For some fuel to get your dreams going, check out the article at Forbes about "Dollar Density". It shows which countries have the most billionaires. I need to be adopted by one of the 22 in Canada. Anyone need an extra son?

Mp3 Share Bob Dylan
"Like a Rolling Stone"

Bob Dylan just released a new album in September called "Modern Times". His gravely voice is still in fine form and the album is really quite good. Any Dylan fan will want to buy this new one. It debuted on the Billboard album chart as No. 1 and was No. 1 in Canada too. He has recreated the old feel on this new disc. There has been a lot of controversy as to how much of the lyrics were stolen from Henry Timrod. Timrod was know as the poet of the Confederacy. Dylan doesn't acknowledge anything to Timrod on the album notes. You will have to decide for yourself, especially, when you listen to "When the Deal Goes Down".
Regardless of this little of the uproar, get the album. You can buy it on CD or get some extras on the DVD version. Just to compare his current craftmanship to days gone by, I played some of his old tunes and decided to share this golden one with you this week. "Like A Rolling Stone" made it's debut in the summer of 1965.

Today's high resolution digital cameras produce multi Megabyte photos. These are great for printing but cause a heavy burden when sending over the Internet. Shrink Pic allows you to send dozens of photos as email attachments - quickly and with no effort at all! It works with IE, Firefox, Opera, Outlook, Eudora, and others. All you need to do is install Shrink Pic. It automatically detects when you're sending large photo files and compresses them in the background. Check out Shrinkpic. Click the link to get the full details and download.
