Having lived in Sweden for two years, I'm partial to all things Swedish. Even IKEA! Not many people have heard of Peter, Bjorn and John, but they have been together for a long time. This song is from their third album. They finally may be getting better know in North America. This song was on Grey's Anatamy and they will make an apperance on Conan O'Briens show tonight (January 29th). If you are interested you can check out Peter, Bjorn, and John at their own site.

DESKLOOPS...... With Xilokit Deskloops, all the windows you have open are aligned side by side in a loop-like order. No more countless windows arranged one on top of the other in a confusing manner. Whichever window you need to view can be centered in front of you with a click of a button. The loop can be rotated clockwise and counterclockwise simply by moving the cursor to the edge of the screen and using right click. Think of the loop as a dynamic rubber band; with each newly opened window the loop automatically grows. With every closed or minimized window, the loop becomes smaller. Anytime you want to return to the desktop, double click on Deskloops tray icon and the windows will shift aside in one swift motion. An interesting, free, application.

Snow Patrol "Warmer Climate`" |
This week I've posted a bonus track from Snow Patrol's album called "Eyes Open". The album will be bought by most people for the tune "Chasing Cars". This is the lucky 13th track not listed. Snow Patrol are from Northen Ireland but got together as students in Scotland. If you like Cold Play, or Killers then Snow Patrol will appeal to you. They have been compared to both groups but I think they have a better sound. For more info check out Snow Patrol at their official site. Hope you enjoy this one.

Thank goodness I missed it! Read about it and see some pics at the Daily News. More than 200 people participated in the sixth annual No Pants! Subway Ride on the 6 line on January 14th.
"We're all going to take our pants off and have a lot of fun," said organizer Charlie Todd, 28, of the Improv Everywhere group. "It's not against the law to wear your underwear!" Maybe it should be.

Cooliris is software that lets you view links without having to click or leave the page you are on. Cooliris makes it easy to navigate through multiple links quickly and easily. It installs (and uninstalls) in seconds. Once you use it the concept is obvious. It is only available for Firefox (here's another reason to use it). Check out Cooliris, you will like it!

If you’re a web developer either professional or amateur then you’re going to need to follow this link and get Firebug.
What is Firebug? With Firebug you can edit, debug, and monitor CSS, HTML, and JavaScript live in any web page all from INSIDE Firefox. What’s more is it allows you to monitor items on your page as they load so you can see what is slowing down your page load time and where any issues might lie.
Having trouble getting an element to adjust properly in CSS and want to make sure you’re changing the right tag? Mouse over the element and it’ll highlight the item live on the page.
You can open Firebug in a separate window, or just have it sit in bottom of your browser. It’s also got controls so you can choose which sites you want to use it on and which you don’t. Perfect if you surf away from a page to check your gmail then decide to surf back.
Best news of all, you can get Firebug FREE.

You might have seen my post on Septermber 15th last year. It was the great video on Utube that was taking the internet by storm.
