Mp3 Share Keith Urban
"Stupid Boy"

Keith Urban was in Toronto on Valentines Day, at the Air Canada Centre. He sang this song "Stupid Boy" from the album "Love, Pain & The Whole Crazy Thing". He also sang "Once in a Lifetime" a No.1 country single in Canada for weeks, which he wrote for his wife Nicole Kidman. The fans loved him. Hope you enjoy this.

Macaulay Library of Natural Sounds Web site screen capture
Have some Friday Brid Fun.

For decades, the Cornell Lab of Ornithology has shared the remarkable sounds of birds and other animals with the public through audio guides featuring recordings hand-picked from the Macaulay Library of Natural Sounds' vast collection. Now anyone can explore the archive's holdings on his or her own. For the first time, more than 65,000 sound clips and some 18,000 video clips of birds and other animals are accessible for no charge at the Macaulay Library's Web site.

"We've long dreamed of swinging the doors to the archive open. Technology and dedicated work by our staff are, at last, making this a realization," said Greg Budney, acting director of the Macaulay Library. "That's important to our core mission in education and scientific research."

Although the online material currently has a North American emphasis, it includes a generous sampling from around the world. Visitors to the Web site can listen to the "Best of Collection," such as a western diamondback rattlesnake responding to a potential threat or a satin bowerbird courting mates. They can also search the collection for any animal, whether it is a backyard bird, a killer whale from Antarctica or an insect from Malaysia. Video footage is available for some species.

The changes report can be produced in text or HTML format and contains a list of all modifications that have taken place between snapshot1 and snapshot2. This has all the right stuff and my favorite price...FREE. Check out Regshot.

Mp3 Share Billy Talent
"Fallen Leaves"

Well I have to revist Billy Talent now that they are Juno nominees. I posted "The Navy Song" a while back. The one I've posted today is the most played, and probably the one you have heard. "Fallen Leaves". It is great and deserves all the air time it gets. I'm torn this year because The HIP and Billy Talent are both nominated for "Group of the Year". I'll be watching Saskatoon, April 1st.

Year of the Boar
Like the knights of old, Pigs are often highly regarded for their chilvary and pureness of heart, and will often sacrifice their own well-being for the greater good. The Pig can be very naive, however, and may easily fall victim to the unscrupulous who take advantage of their idealistic nature - as Pigs see everyone as loyal and caring as they are. Although forced to play the fool many times, they will just as likely hold fast to the notion that everyone is at heart decent and admirable. Stubbornly optimistic, the Pig will not tolerate those with well-meaning advice on how to be a Pig, but since they dislike quarreling and discord their anger usually cools quickly. Sometimes looked upon as a snob, the Pig just finds it right and natural to exhibit good manners whenever possible. Their main goal in life is in serving others, and no matter how difficult circumstances become the Pig will never waiver or retreat, forging ahead in the sure knowledge that all will be well. Pig people love to read, are generally thirsty for knowledge, and not readily talkative, but if presented with an opportunity to discuss topics of interest with like-minded individuals Pigs may find themselves talking non-stop for hours! People born in the Year of the Pig are trusted associates in whatever career they happen to choose and often shine as entertainers, social activists or politicians. Pigs are most compatible with : Rabbit, Sheep

"Grace Kelly"

Here's a treat. A current hit song for you. This album, "Life in Cartoon Motion", was just released in North America last week, and in the UK the week before. The single "Grace Kelly" has been on the top hits list for a few months now in Europe. Mika is a Lebanese emigre to Britain with a very interesting story. He was written up in Time Magazine two weeks ago just as the album hit the stores. Mika has put out an interesting album with many differnt styles showing through the songs. It's worth investigating.

My Crystal Clear XP Vista Desktop transformation! What fun!. My desktop has been transformed into an awesome Vista looking operating system. Despite the name Vista, the transformation changes most of the system icons, skins and toolbars and also adds new enhancements to the desktop with its magnificent animated Dock Bar that organize shortcuts elegantly. If you want to transform your Windows Operating system into a Vista looking desktop, you can try downloading this free software from Crystal Clear. A no cost, fun, undertaking. It can be easily removed but I don't think you will want to.
