Weekly MP3 shareAnother share of one of my MP3s. I set up a new one once a week and give you seven days to check it out. After that it will be gone and replaced by a new selection. Please don't link to this. Just click on the link and save it. Until I can make some money and buy some, if you get the message BANDWIDTH exceeded, just try again tomorrow. For this week:

Mp3 Share Arcade Fire
"No Car Go"

or you can try here too!

Canada's Arcade Fire is still on...F.I.R.E.! Here's another cut from the "Neon Bible" CD called "No Car Go". They gave a great performance here in Toronto during their two day stopover. The first concert was on the day we had one of the worst storms ever rain, thunder, lightning, high winds, and falling marble rained down from the 50th floor of 1st Canadian Place. The concert was well received and a good salesman for the CD. Why haven't you have bought it? Enjoy.

ShortcutsMan displays the details about all shortcuts that you have on your desktop and under your start menu. Broken shortcuts (shortcuts that point to file that doesn't exist) are automatically painted with pink color. You select one or more shortcuts, and then delete them, resolve them or save the shortcut's details to HTML/Text/XML file. And it's free! Check it out.

"One Thing"

or you can try here too!

Finger Eleven, origianlly from Burlington, have been together for fifteen years now. They released their lastest album called "Them VS You VS Me" a few weeks ago. It's been well received with good sales and the first single "Paralized" getting radio play. I thought I'd revisit their 2003 self titled album and share "One Thing" with you this week. Check out the new album and enjoy!

I'm not sure if I'm flattered or insulted. If I were a programming language:
You are Binary. You are not human and go to great lengths to prove it. You always know where you are and how you got there but no one else does, ever.
Which Programming Language are You?

Mp3 Share Tragically Hip
"In View"

or you can try here too!

OK, it's another Tragically Hip post. I toyed with the idea of posting something from Simply Red's new album called "Stay". But it has been far to long since we had something from the Hip. I decided it was the time to post "In View" from the best Hip album "World Container". I meant to do it around the Junos, but Billy Talent won (which was well deserved). I just got distracted and lost my best laid plans. I've played this album so often. It is great and if you don't own it you should! Enjoy!

How to determine which cookies can be deleted? Cookies are just ASCII text files created via your browser by Web sites you visit. Some cookies are very useful, storing login information for the Web sites you frequent, the date of your last visit (so the site can flag newer information for you), your favorite search terms, and so on. These cookies are worth saving. Other cookies really only benefit Web advertisers, and can be deleted with no negative consequences to you. But how do you tell which cookies are which? Because cookies are plain text files, they can be opened and read with Notepad. Even so, the data stored inside a cookie may not be very easy to figure out. That's where a tool like Karen Kenworthy's free Cookie Viewer can help. Cookie Viewer works with Internet Explorer and Firefox cookies, and presents all of a cookie's data in a comprehensive but easy-to-understand way. You can see when the cookie was created, by whom, when it expires, and more. The program also lets you delete any cookies you don't want.

Mp3 ShareModest Mouse
"Dashboard"

or you can try here too!

OK. Here's the tune from Modest Mouse that I almost posted a couple of weeks ago. They put on a fine show at the Hummingbird Centre here in Toronto on April 24th. Their new album "We Were Dead Before The Skip Even Sank" debuted as number three in the Canadian top ten albums. I have listened to the album many times now and have really grown to like and appreciate the music of this Washington state Inde band. I love the song "Parting of the Sensory" with the words "Some day you will die and someone's or something's will steal your carbon". The selection here is called "Dashboard" and is the biggest radio play. I'm sure you will have heard it if you listen to the radio. Enjoy!

I have been a fan of Stevie Nicks every since I first heard her in Fleetwood Mac. Now there is a "Best Of" album called "Crystal Vision". There are some great cuts on the album and a couple of "Live" performances. I have picked one that I'm sure everone has heard to share this week called "Dreams". Enjoy!
