According to a CBC story Bob Dylan turned up at Neil Young's teenage home in Winnipeg, earlier this month. Check out the story and think of the fun it would be if Young had been there too and an impromptu concert occurred!

For Firefox users there is a really neat tool available. SPLIT BROWSER is a Firefox add-on -- It splits the content area of the browser window as you like. It can help you, for example, to compare multiple webpages, or to have a calendar always present. Check out SPLIT BROWSER.

Here's something really different. Esau Mwamwaya is a bit unusual. He is a drummer and singer originally from Malawi, Africa, who emigrated to London and until recently, ran a second-hand furniture store there. That store happened to be near the studio of a couple of DJs who call themselves Radioclit. After they happened to visit Esau's store, they got to talking and working together. Two years later their mixtape "The Very Best" is a sensation. You can this week download the whole mixtape here! An album is finished and due in 2009, and a mixtape/bootleg album is being released on Green Owl Records November 1, but right now you can still get the free web only release from Esau Mwamwaya and Radioclit.

Use PHLOX while a file is selected and the file name will be selected but not the extension, making it possible to type in a new name without over-writing the extension. Thanks to Freeware Genius. This is a neat app that works with Windows 2000, XP, and Vista. You can download it here!
