Just a filler to pad out the week. Hope you find this amusing enough to raise a chuckle:
A crowded city at a busy bus stop, a beautiful young woman wearing a tight leather skirt was waiting for a bus. As the bus stopped and it was her turn to get on, she became aware that her skirt was too tight to allow her leg to come up to the height of the first step of the bus. Slightly embarrassed and with a quick smile to the bus driver, she reached behind her to unzip her skirt a little, thinking that this would give her enough slack to raise her leg. She tried to again take the step, only to discover that she couldn’t. So, she once again reached behind her to unzip her skirt a little more. After that, much to her embarrassment she still could not raise her leg. With a little smile to the driver, she again reached behind to unzip a little more. About this time, a large guy who was standing behind her picked her up easily by the waist and placed her gently on the step of the bus. She went furious and turned to the man and screeched, “How dare you touch my body! I don’t even know who you are!” The guy smiled and drawled, “Well, ma’am, normally I would agree with you, but after you unzipped my fly three times, I kind’a figured we were friends.”

Colour should be spelled Colour! Despite my objections, if you are still like me and use the old windows console often, then COLOR CONSOLE brings a little colour to the black and white world of the Windows console. Installation of ColorConsole is not required. Check it out.

Weekly MP3 shareAnother share of one of my MP3s. I set up a new one once a week and give you seven days to check it out. After that it will be gone and replaced by a new selection. Please don't link to this. Just click on the link and save it. Until I can make some money and buy some, if you get the message BANDWIDTH exceeded, just try again tomorrow. For this week:

Mp3 ShareBooker T Jones
"She Breaks"

or you can try here too!

Last month Booker T Jones (yes that's right the same Booker T from Booker T and the MGs released his first album in 20 years. The best news is that he is backed by The Drive-By Truckers and Neil Young. How cool is that! It is an awesome issue. You really have to listen to the whole album from beginning to end to appreciate it. I'm sharing the second song from the brand new album "Potato Hole" called "She Beats". Hope you enjoy my share. If you do be sure to check this album and listen to the whole thing.

Nothing much to blog about today. So here's a cartoon from a few weeks ago at Bizarro. I love Spongebob but with all the swine (sorry H1N1) flu and other worries I fear this is not too far off the mark. I still got a laugh from it though. I hope you will find this funny too.

By the way have you noticed that most Bizarro cartoons include an eyeball (the Eyeball of Observation), a piece of pie (the Pie of Opportunity), a rabbit (the Bunny of Exuberance), an alien in a spaceship (the Flying Saucer of Possibility), the abbreviation "K2" (referring to the cartoonists children Kermit and Krapuzar), a crown (the Crown of Power), a stick of dynamite (the Dynamite of Unintended Consequences), a shoe (the Lost Loafer), and/or an upside down bird (the Inverted Bird) hidden somewhere in the cartoon?

Registry Trash Key Finder (TrashReg) is an advanced Registry cleaning tool. The main function is to allow the removal of unnecessary keys from the Windows Registry. Many programs leave keys in the Registry, even after programs removal using an uninstall facility provided with the programs themselves. RTKF allows you to decide whether to delete or leave the keys found, all for free! Check out Registry Trash Key Finder.

Mp3 Share Jamey Johnson
"That Lonesome Song"

or you can try here too!

Last week the World Cafe on NPR did an interview with Jamey Johnson. He is a country singer and not normally one of my favorite music types. However, I really liked the set and the interview, so I got the album called "That Lonesome Song". It is a group of songs that relate to his life when he was going though a rough patch. They are sad songs but not depressing. I can recommend it. I'm sharing the song that shares the albums title. Check out this song the whole album. Hope you enjoy my share. If you do be sure to check his wiki page.

PowerResizer is a utility that provides many facilities for moving or resizing windows in a Microsoft Windows desktop environment. One of the key-features of PowerResizer is window-docking. With PowerResizer you can organize your window in an intelligent way. Try the following: run PowerResizer, then dock a window in the left-half of your screen (simply dragging-it with your mouse to the left of your screen) and dock another window in the right-half; now you can resize them using either the left border of the right window or the right border of the left window....the magic happens! So, if you want compare some documents or rapidly resize and move your windows, PowerResizer allows you to do those actions. You can resize a window maintaining its center point fixed, by using some keyboard shortcuts or resizing that window. Be sure to see the Readme file included in setup package for all the great options. This is a SourceForge project. Check it out here!

Mp3 Share Ben Harper and the Relentless 7
"Number With No Name"

or you can try here too!

Ben Harper released a brand new album last week called "White Lies For Dark Times". He has a new backing group called the Relentless7, from Texas. This is a great album. I really liked his 2007 album called "Lifeline" but this one is even better. I'm sharing a song from the new album called "Number With No Name", which is the lead track. I think my favorite so far is the track "Shimmer & Shine". Check out this one and the new album. Hope you enjoy my share. If you do be sure to check his wiki page.

Just a little fun quote to end the week with:
People have to talk about something just to keep their voice boxes in working order so they'll have good voice boxes in case there's ever anything really meaningful to say. Kurt Vonnegut

BOOT IT is a tool offered by Lexar that enables a user to format a USB flash drive, set a volume label, set a (bootable) active partition and most importantly, Flip the Removable Media Bit (RMB) on the USB device to allow windows to see the USB device as a fixed disk, rather than removable media. Flipping the Removable Media Bit on a USB flashdrive will allow a user to setup, see and use multiple partitions on the USB flashdrive from Windows. It may not work with all USB devices but it's free so ot is worth checking out.

"Ambulance"

or you can try here too!

Pilot Speed have just released a brand new album called "Wooden Bones". This is a great Toronto group, often called Canadas answer to Cold Play. Even if you are not a Cold Play fanatic you should check out these guys. I think the reference does them an injustice. To celebrate the new album the song I'm sharing is from their 2006 album called "Into The West", which made it to some charts, and is called "Ambulance". Check out this one and the new album. Hope you enjoy my share. If you do be sure to check their wiki page.

It's No Pants Day. On the first Friday of May each year, thousands of people celebrate a little-known holiday called No Pants Day. Logically, they celebrate this holiday by not wearing any pants. While some clever people note that you could celebrate by wearing a dress, skirt, kilt or other pants alternative, traditionalists will argue that such clothing is not in keeping with the spirit of the day.
