Skip at 6:00 AM Sorry for the lack of notice but there will be no posts this week. If all pans out next Monday will be back to normal. Check in then and see what unfolds. Have a great week. Skip at 6:00 AM Here's a cute cartoon from last week's Rhymes With Orange. I can sympathize with the poor guy! Thank goodness my first name wasn't Ford. Poor Als' parents weren't so kind. I got a good chuckle when I saw it. How about you?
Skip at 6:00 AM COMMANDS IN DEMAND V9.6 provides non-technical users with easy access to more than 70 Windows (XP and Vista) commands and features that can be hard to find or time consuming to get to. The program includes shortcuts to terminate non-responsive applications, restart Windows Explorer, view/clear the clipboard, open a command prompt in a selected folder, access system folders, view TCP/IP configuration settings, etc. It has a selections menu (sections) according to were its commands are related. It's free and even for the experienced user a good reference. Click on the link to go to Vasilios Freeware and see a list of sites where it can be downloaded. Check it out! Skip at 6:00 AM
Skip at 2:22 PM ![]() August 16th 2002 The proof is in the history sidebar, just a click away. When I started I had grand plans and high hopes for this blog. It quickly turned into just a public bookmark site of things that caught my fancy. And now, I also use it to display my weird eclectic taste in music. I get just enough feedback to keep me motivated. If you like they way things are let me know. If you don't, tell me too. We'll find out how much longer this can go on. I wrote this last year and I still feel the same. Do you? Skip at 6:00 AM If you ever have computer problems like I just did you might find a product like this a help. PRODUCT KEY FINDER is a free Windows application that retrieves license key information (CD Keys) from the Windows registry. Product Key Finder currently supports retrieval of 200+ windows applications such Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat. It's free, so check it out! Skip at 6:00 AM

Skip at 6:00 AM Free Printable sounds a bit odd but actually it’s just a network of about 49 sites that offer free printable — STUFF. Like what? There’s free printable things for business, like business cards, time sheets, cash receipts, and resume templates. Available in Microsoft Word and sometimes PDF versions. There are also more general templates, like 2009 and 2010 calendars, greeting cards, maps, and even tourney brackets. (Not just printable, but otherwise useful, is a simple little tool for easily making pie charts.) Home printables include chore charts, family tree templates, gift tags, and play money! And finally, kids get their own small section with printable dot-to-dots and coloring pages in different themes. You didn’t have to register to download anything or provide an e-mail address — just agree to the terms of service. Check out Free Printables soon. Thanks to Researchbuzz.org for the headsup. I haven't had a lot of time to prepare, so here is just a quick share: Since G Love will be at the Molson_Amphitheatre on August 15th (along with Jason Mraz!) I chose to share this. I'm sure most of his songs will be from "Superheros Brother" as he is billed with "Special Sauce". But, G Love released "G Love's Lemonade" in August 2006. I've been playing it every since. This track, I'm sharing with you "Ain't That Right" is one of my favorites. It's not new anymore but worth the price if you see the album. Check it out. You'll be glad you did. Skip at 6:00 AM |
